Description

I hear your voice on the wind
And I hear you call out my name

Listen, my child, you say to me
I am the voice of your history
Be not afraid, come follow me
Answer my call, and I'll set you free

I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice, I will remain

I am the voice in the fields when the summer's gone
The dance of the leaves when the autumn winds blow
Ne'er do I sleep throughout all the cold winter long
I am the force that in springtime will grow

I am the voice of the past that will always be
Filled with my sorrow and blood in my fields
I am the voice of the future, bring me your peace
Bring me your peace, and my wounds, they will heal

I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice

I am the voice of the past that will always be
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice of the future
I am the voice, I am the voice
I am the voice, I am the voice

some last unicorn art ;)
its my favourite movie and book, and comic. I think this was the movie that influenced my love of unicorns at such a young age, for they are still my favourite animal :XD: If you havent at least seen the film, you had no childhood you should give it a chance.

but anyways i think the picture can be interpreted two ways... it could be after the movie and the Unicorn misses her mortal self, or it can be the Lady Amalthea trying not to forget the unicorn she once was...

but whatever, just look at the very blue picture xD

I am writing this critique because you, as the artist, requested it. I feel that critics have a tendency to be cruel and biased, but if nothing else critique gives us something to base our own opinions on, so here goes nothing.

I think this is a great picture, the colors are soft and the lines flow very well. There are a few slips with lines and the shading could have been a little softer in certain places. The artistic style is very close to the original yet retains some of your individual style as well, so I believe this is a perfect example of fan art. The tear on the unicorn's cheek is excellent, in my opinion. Her mane is also very well done. I haven't seen the movie for quite some time so I'm not sure, but I think the trees look very close to the original style as well, and they are just cool looking anyways. The background night is also great looking, but the moon is not exactly a perfect circle. The tail going into the water really shows the great vision of this piece, which I thought was really up there, so that gets high marks in my book. I don't know if you have plans to redo this particular piece, but if you did, there are some things you could work on. I, having almost no artistic talent whatsoever, could never hope to come close to anything this beautiful, but there it is all the same.

Overall, I would give this colored pencil drawing a 3 1/2 stars.
As a fan, I love it. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="20" height="20" alt="" title="Clap"/>
